StAndEN is a dynamic community-led organisation dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in St Andrews and beyond. We strive to create a greener, more sustainable future through various initiatives, from energy efficiency projects and waste reduction programs to education and outreach. Our mission is to inspire and empower our community to take action for the environment, and we’re looking for talented individuals like you to help us achieve our goals.

What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking new board members with expertise in the following areas:

1. Fundraising: We need a strategic thinker who can help us secure the resources necessary to expand our projects and reach more people. If you have experience in grant writing, donor relations, or campaign management, your skills could be invaluable to our team.

2. Human Resources (HR): Our organisation thrives on the strength of our people. We are looking for someone with HR experience who can help us develop effective strategies for volunteer recruitment, staff development, and organisational culture. Your guidance will be crucial in ensuring that we remain a supportive and inclusive workplace.

3. Finance: Financial stewardship is key to our sustainability. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in finance who can help us manage budgets, optimise our financial processes, and ensure that we are making the best use of our resources. If you’re skilled in accounting, financial planning, or auditing, we would love to have you on board.

Commitment

We understand that your time is valuable. As a board member, you’ll be expected to attend monthly board meetings (a minimum of 6 hours of work per quarter), participate in occasional sub-committee work, and be an active ambassador for StAndEN. Your commitment and expertise will help us continue to grow and make a real impact in our community.
