St Andrews Environmental Network’s Chief Executive is retiring after nearly 14 years of leading the organisation and growing the range of projects currently being delivered. As a result, the Board of the charity are about to start the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive. They are looking for an experienced leader to take the charity on the next stage of its journey.  The Chief Executive will take a strategic lead in the development of St Andrews Environmental Network’s activities and will lead a team of 12 staff and 25 volunteers to deliver a range of grant-funded projects and social income-generating activities.


St Andrews Environmental Network’s work is diverse and includes programmes of action towards more sustainable lifestyles. Our work encourages individuals, households, community groups and businesses to make the area a greener and fairer place to live. We work throughout North East Fife and Glenrothes, often in partnership with other charities and public-sector organisations. Projects include the Cosy Kingdom energy advice service, Climate Friendly Home, Clean & Green, StAndReuse, St Andrews Beach Wheelchairs, Sustainable St Andrews, The Eco Hub and Community Garden.
